Chapter Summary:
Harry receives a Nimbus 2000 broom from McGonagall. Later, an argument between Harry & Ron about Hermione leads to her crying in a bathroom, where, during the Halloween feast, she encounters the troll let in by Quirrell. Harry & Ron go to her rescue, they defeat the troll together, and in a show of loyalty, Hermione lies to protect them, solidifying their friendship.
