Chapter Summary:
Introduces the normal, but secretly terrified, Dursley family. Mr. Dursley’s day becomes increasingly strange as he encounters owls flying in daylight, people in cloaks, and hears whispers about the “Potters” and “You-Know-Who”. The chapter ends with the mysterious Albus Dumbledore leaving baby Harry on the Dursleys’ doorstep to be raised in the Muggle world.
